January 6th Meeting!

Hi Families!

Just a reminder that we have another meeting coming up!

WHEN: Sunday, January 6th at 2:00 PM.
WHERE: Cedar Hill Elementary School, Lawrenceville, GA

WHAT TO BRING:
1) 60 copies of your "Yearbook Page." The page should feature at least one picture of you, contact details such as e-mail address and phone number, and biographical information about yourself.
2) Family Contact Form (if you did not turn this in at the first meeting)
3) Health Form (full disclosure of all medications regularly taken during the school year, and any medical conditions are necessary!)
4) Success Contract (make sure to discuss this as a family before both parents and students sign this!)
5) 2 extra "Official" passport photos (like you get at Walgreens!)
6) Student Ambassador Notebook (if you haven't received yours yet, don't panic!)
7) Writing utensils

Also, don't forget you can log onto the People to People website (a link is located on the right hand side of our blog) using your PIN number. Once on the site, click on "Students" and then "Enrolled Students Onboard Login" which will be a box on the left hand side. Check it out!

Forms for the December meeting.

Hello All!
At each of our monthly meetings there will be certain forms that will need to be filled out and turned in. We will always have copies available at the meeting, but for those of you who like to be prepared, we will also have an electronic version of the forms available online prior to the meeting. New Meeting Location!

Hi there P2P families!

We wanted to announce and post the new location for our meetings. There have been some issues at Shiloh that prevent us from using the facility. Instead, we are going to use Ben's school, CEDAR HILL ELEMENTARY, in Lawrenceville. It is located just a few miles from Discover Mills Mall on Sugarloaf Parkway. The address is:

3615 Sugarloaf Parkway ~ Lawrenceville, GA 30044

I will suggest that you try using Yahoo Maps instead of MapQuest. We have changed our link on the delegation site (on right) to reflect this. Several folks had issues using MapQuest to come to the interview site. We don't want anyone ending up in Suwanee!

Interviews!

Interviews will be held at Chattahoochee Elementary School on Saturday, October 20th, 2007. The school address is:

2930 Albion Farm Road Duluth, GA 30097

All delegates should receive a confirmation e-mail mid week to remind you about your time slot. Additionally, all delegates need remember to bring the following:

~3 letters of recommendation in sealed, signed envelopes (2 from teachers, 1 from an adult who knows you well)
~The Interview Questionnaire, filled out by the student who will be traveling
